Check-up, cleaning & fillings at Dr. Harikesh Singh

Most dental problems are quiet in their early stages. A careful examination, a proper clean and a few honest conversations are often all that stand between a small issue and a complicated one. We build a prevention plan around your teeth, your gums and your daily routine — not a one-size-fits-all checklist.

This may be for you if

  • You have not seen a dentist in over a year
  • You notice bleeding when brushing or flossing
  • There is sensitivity to hot, cold or sweet food
  • You want a second opinion before starting treatment

What the appointment includes

  • Full examination of teeth, gums and soft tissues
  • Digital X-rays only where they change the decision
  • Professional scaling and polishing
  • Tooth-coloured composite fillings
  • A clear prevention plan for home care
The process

How treatment is planned.

The steps are similar for most patients. The timeline and fee are confirmed in writing after examination.

  1. 01

    Listen first

We begin with your concerns, medical history and what you have already tried. Nothing is assumed.

  2. 02

    Examine carefully

Teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints and soft tissues are checked. X-rays are taken only when they add information.

  3. 03

    Explain plainly

You see what we see, understand the options, and know what each one costs before we begin.

  4. 04

    Prevent, then treat

We stabilise the immediate issue and give you a simple, realistic plan for keeping it from returning.

Questions

Check-ups & fillings — common questions

How often should I have a check-up?
For most adults, every six to twelve months is sensible. If you have gum disease, a history of frequent decay or complex restorations, we may suggest a shorter interval.
Is scaling bad for enamel?
No. Professional scaling removes hardened plaque and stain from the tooth surface. Enamel is not damaged. Some temporary sensitivity can occur, but it settles.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We see children from their first tooth onwards and keep early visits short, gentle and familiar.
