Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) shares your name and email address with us. We create a patient record linked to that account.
- Appointment details. Name, email, phone, treatment selected, dentist, date, time and any notes you choose to add.
- Online consultation content. The concern you describe, photographs or reports you choose to share, and the follow-up conversation you have with the clinic on WhatsApp. The clinic may keep a short written note for your care record.
- Contact messages. Name, email, optional phone number, topic and message.
- Payments. The amount, currency, status and a provider reference. We do not store card numbers or UPI credentials on this website.
- Reviews and newsletter. The review text, rating and display name you submit, or the email address you use to subscribe.
Why we use it
- To arrange, confirm and provide appointments and treatment.
- To operate the seven-day online consultation and WhatsApp follow-up.
- To respond to enquiries and follow up after treatment.
- To process consultation payments and keep financial records.
- To moderate reviews before publication.
- To send occasional journal notes, only if you asked for them.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Who processes it
We use Clerk for authentication, Convex for the application database and functions, Razorpay for online payments where enabled, and WhatsApp for the online-consultation conversation you choose to start. These providers process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Appointment and treatment records are kept for as long as needed to provide care and to meet professional and legal record-keeping requirements. Contact messages and newsletter subscriptions are kept until no longer needed. Online consultation follow-up ends after seven days; the clinic may keep a short written note for continuity of care.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to record-keeping obligations. You can unsubscribe from journal emails at any time by replying to any email or contacting the clinic. To make a request, email care@drharikeshsingh.com.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication uses cookies set by Clerk. The application may store short-lived state in your browser to keep the interface working. We do not run advertising trackers on this website.
Security
Access to patient records is limited to authorised clinic staff. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect what you share.
Children
A parent or guardian should create the account and manage appointments for a child under 18. We do not knowingly collect independent accounts from young children.
Changes
We may update this notice when the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest review. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact the clinic first so we can try to resolve it. You may also raise a concern with the appropriate data protection authority in India.
